Azerbaijan’s Oil Exports Down 4.5% On Year Jan-July

Oil exports from Azerbaijan fell by 4.5% on the year to 14.9m mt in the first seven months of this year, the Azerbaijan Energy Ministry said.

  • This compares to exports of 15.6m mt for the same period in 2022, according to the Ministry’s archive data.
  • Meanwhile, production from Azerbaijan’s largest oil field, Azeri-Chirag-Gunashhli (ACG), pumped 10.6m mt of crude in the first seven month of 2023. The ministry’s archive data show that the field produced 12m mt over the same period in 2022.
