Futures moved back from their overnight highs, in sympathy with U.S. Tsys, which left YM unchanged and XM -1.5 at the end of post-Sydney dealing.

  • The minutes from the RBA's August meeting will headline the local docket on Tuesday, with the weekly consumer confidence reading from ANZ-Roy Morgan also due.
  • Participants will also watch the usual daily COVID updates from across the impacted Australian states given Monday's local COVID developments.
