President Joe Biden will today continue a fertile period for Democrat legislation by signing two high-profile bipartisan bills into law today.
- 10:00 ET 15:00 BST: Biden will sign the CHIPS and Science Act in the White House Rose Garden.

- After a challenging six months, Democrats have recovered in a number of key polling metrics, including Senate and House of Representatives forecasts, and the generic Congressional ballot.
- President's Biden's approval rating has also stabilised after a long period of decline and is currently hovering marginally below 40% on both Real Clear Politics and FiveThirtyEight approval aggregators.
- The White House will be hoping that Biden can effectively link his office to recent legislative success in Congress as Biden's approval is considered a key drag on vulnerable Democrat lawmakers ahead of the midterms.
