Biden Vows Retaliation After Kabul Attacks, Stands By Troop Withdrawal Plan

U.S. President Joe Biden has wrapped up a press briefing on Kabul attacks which killed over 70 people, including a dozen of U.S. service members. The POTUS vowed retribution and pledged to hunt down ISIS-K terrorists responsible for the attacks, noting that he asked military commanders to develop plans to strike ISIS targets. Biden said that there is no evidence of cooperation between the Afghan affiliate of the Islamic State and the Taliban. The President added that evacuations of U.S. personnel and Afghan allies will continue and defended his decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan by the end of the month.
