US VIEW: BMO's Ian Lyngen and Aaron Kohli noted that the "employment {report}
proxies lean to negatives" ahead of this Friday's 8:30am ET December jobs
report. 
"Anecdotes for this month's employment report are skewed negatively with 8
negative proxies vs. 4 positive ones," they said. "The negative anecdotes
include ISM Manufacturing, Empire State and the labor differential. This
historical statistics are mixed with NFP swaying negative but the January
unemployment rate (December's data) coming in lower than expected on average.
ADP did come in positive, however, as of late this has not been a great
predictor of NFP."
