Germany kept the maximum price for biomass and biomethane plant tenders stable on the year in 2025, Bnetza said on Wednesday.

  • “By setting the maximum values ​​for the biomass and biomethane tenders at the same level as last year, we are ensuring stable and reliable conditions”, Klaus Müller, Bnetza president, said.
  • The maximum value for new biomass plants is 19.43ct/kWh and for existing biomass plants 19.83ct/kWh.
  • Bids for biomethane plants can reach a maximum value of 21.03ct/kWh.
  • The maximum values have been increased by 10% for 2024.
