ENERGY: Brazil’s ANP Grants Authorisations to FSPO

Brazil’s Oil regulator ANP has granted FSPO Almirante Tamandare the authorisations that were still pending, it said in a statement

  • The FPSO Almirante Tamandaré is the largest FPSO ever installed in Brazil, with the capacity to produce up to 225k b/d of oil 12 mcm/d of gas.
  • “This is a high-capacity production unit that will operate in the Búzios Field, located in the Santos Basin, approximately 180 km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.,” ANP said.
