MNI BRIEF: Caixin Feb Manufacturing PMI Hits Three-Month High

MNI (BEIJING)

China's Caixin manufacturing PMI came in at 50.8 in February, up from January's 50.1, staying in the expansionary zone above the 50 mark for the fifth straight month and hitting a three-month high, the financial publisher said on Monday.

The production and new orders sub-indices both rose to their highest level in three months in the expansion range as factories restarted after the Spring Festival holiday. The new export order sub-index stopped falling and rebounded to the highest level since May 2024, driven by improved global market demand.
