Break Through Yesterday's Lows Exposes 4212.75 for E-mini S&P

EQUITIES
  • Equity pullback extending in recent trade, with the e-mini S&P nearing yesterday's lows of 4263.25. A break below here opens losses toward 4212.75 - the 2022 low printed on Monday.
  • Weakness across tech names is evident across Europe, with the tech sector the poorest performer in the Stoxx600 so far Friday, although much of this selling pressure has already been seen across the US, evident in the underperformance for the e-mini S&P and DJIA futures vs. The NASDAQ so far.
  • Moves come ahead of critical week for earnings next week, with reports from Amazon, Meta (Facebook), AMD and Alphabet still due this quarter.
