November CPI fell by 0.1pp to 2.3%, driven primarily by a fall in 
the cost of fuel, pc games and live music admissions tickets. Absent a 
rise in tobacco prices, following duty changes announced in the Budget, 
CPI could have fallen further. Fuel prices, down 1.1% m/m, subtracted 
0.09pp from the overall change, with a further -0.09pp contribution 
coming from from recreation and culture. Tobacco prices rose 3.4% m/m, 
providing a 0.07pp uplift. An 11.8% m/m fall in crude oil prices left 
input price inflation at the lowest level in over three years - -2.3% 
m/m - taking the annual rate to 5.6%, a seven-month low. House price 
inflation of 2.7% y/y was the lowest since Jul-13.
