EGB SUMMARY: Bunds have been the outperformer in core fixed income space today
although there is little in the way of idiosyncratic headlines driving the move.
- However, it does appear as though there is some European specific risk-off
with peripheral spreads across Spain, Portugal Italy and Greece all wider by at
least 3bp on the day.
- There has been little in the way of key data with a final print of German GDP
in line with the flash while Accounts of the ECB meeting gave little new news
away.
- Bund futures are up 0.30 today at 171.76 with 10y Bund yields down -2.3bp at
-0.224% and Schatz yields down -0.1bp at -0.598%.
- BTP futures are down -0.37 today at 142.42 with 10y yields up 1.5bp at 1.414%
and 2y yields up 1.9bp at -0.12%.
- OAT futures are up 0.17 today at 164.12 with 10y yields down -1.6bp at 0.036%
and 2y yields down -0.1bp at -0.569%.
