Businesses' social insurance............>

CHINA PRESS
CHINA PRESS: Businesses' social insurance contributions can be reduced by 3 to 5
percentage points to help stimulate the economy, the 21st Century Business
Herald reported on Tuesday, citing analyst from China International Capital
Corp.
- Companies are required to pay social insurance at a rate of about 30% of the
employee's salary, though the actual payment made by companies is about 20% of
the salary, the newspaper said;
- Reducing the contribution rates can also make room for developing other
senior-care tools, such as expanding enterprise annuity and promoting commercial
endowment insurance, the newspaper added.
