  • The Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers will today discuss energy subsidies, adjustments to Poland's plan for spending EU recovery funds and a Multi-Year Fiscal Plan (2024-2027), before these issues are debated at tomorrow's Cabinet meeting. The fiscal plan will include the government's macroeconomic forecasts for the coming years. Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski said that GDP growth should average at +3.1% Y/Y this year and +3.7% Y/Y in 2025, adding that the fiscal plan will unveil some details on measures to increase the transparency of public finances.

Wieslaw Kukula told public radio that "any potential war would be long, bloody, and most professional troops would not survive until its end. The reservists would be the key actor, they would end it."
  • DGP reported that Tomasz Siemoniak, the current Coordinator of the Secret Services, will likely replace Marcin Kierwinski as Interior Minister after the imminent Cabinet reshuffle. Prime Minister Donald Tusk will also need to fill the positions of the Culture Minister and the State Assets Minister, with incumbent ministers due to run for the European Parliament.
