CAD Underwhelms Despite Oil, Equities Boost

  • USDCAD moves further off London session lows of 1.3568 to a high of 1.3664 (currently 1.3651).
  • It comes despite further gains for oil and e-mini S&P on the day, with CAD only outperforming AUD after a dovish RBA and by extension NZD of the majors, whilst looking ahead to Fedspeak/US data.
  • Techs: Renewed continuation of the short-term reversal would see support at 1.3560 (Sep 26 low) whilst key resistance and the bull trigger is seen at 1.3838 (Sep 30 high).
