Cheniere Signs LNG Supply Deal With China’s ENN

Cheniere Energy has signed an agreement with China’s ENN Natural Gas to supply 1.8mn tonnes of LNG starting mid-2016 according to Reuters.

  • The supply agreement will last for over 20 years.
  • Deliveries of 0.9mn tonnes will start mid-2026 and will further ramp up by 2027, subject to Cheniere’s positive FID of the Sabine Pass LNG expansion project.
  • ENN previously signed a 13-year supply deal to buy LNG from Cheniere that started in July 2022.
