China Diesel Exports Rise to ~1mn tons September: OilChem

China diesel exports are expected at ~1mn tons in September according to OilChem, up from 610,000 tons in August.

  • It expects total oil products of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel to total 3.3mn tons in September vs 3.2mn tons in August.
  • Planned gasoline exports will be lower m/m at 690k tons in September and jet fuel exports will also be down m/m at 1.58m tons.
  • Looking at August, the average export profit of gasoline and gasoil climbed further by 68.04% and 125.97% respectively MoM at Yuan 576/t and Yuan 669/t as of August 17, suggesting strong profitability according to OilChem.
