CHINA PRESS: China's consumer price index might edge up to an annualised 5.3% by
January 2020, driven by rising prices for fresh fruit and vegetables before
Chinese New Year, Securities Times reported on Monday. Citing analysis by
Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, the Times report says that CPI is also likely to
come down in the second half of next year due to more balanced demand and
supply. The report says CPI could fall below 2.0% y/y by Q4 next year.
