China’s Fuel Exports To Rise 6% MoM in July: JLC

Chinese refiners plan to increase fuel sales by 6% month on month in July according to JLC.

  • Shipments of diesel, gasoline and jet fuel are expected to rise to 3.5mn tons in July, compared with 3.3mn tons in June.
  • Jet fuel shipments are expected to rise by 19% month on month to 1.8mn tons.
  • Diesel exports are expected to increase by 25% on the month to 825k tons. Diesel shipments could see further support from seasonally weak domestic demand and good export margins.
  • Gasoline exports are set to decline by 22% on the month to 882k tons.
