China’s Refined Oil Exports Up 7% in Nov: OilChem

Exports of gasoline, gasoil, and kerosene from China in November rose by 7% on the month to 3.64m mt, according to OilChem, citing GACC data.

  • However, this was down 25% compared to November 2022.
  • Gasoline exports saw the largest monthly rise, up 16%, driven by a jump of 98.9% in export profits. Gasoil exports rose by a smaller 4% on the month.
  • Higher export profits were the main factor driving the rise, OilChem said.
  • Refined oil exports for December are planned at 2.62m mt, down significantly from November, as export profits fall
