The following are the new maintenance plans for Chinese domestic refineries, according to OilChem, currently totalling 10.9m mtpa of offline CDU capacity.
- An independent refinery in Dongying has been undergoing maintenance on CDU units, with 2.4m mtpa of CDU capacity offline from Jan. 7. The duration is unconfirmed.
- A second independent refinery in Dongying has seen the whole refinery down for maintenance since Jan. 25, taking 2.6m mtpa of CDU capacity offline. Maintenance will be completed in April.
- An independent refinery at Weifang has seen the whole refinery down for maintenance, with 2.4m mtpa of CDU capacity offline since Jan. 31. Maintenance will be completed in March.
- An independent refinery in Rizhao is completely down for maintenance, taking 3.5 mtpa of CDU capacity offline from Jan. 31 until March.
- An independent refinery in Dongying is on rotation from H2 Feb with the end date TBD.
