CHINA PRESS: China's top housing regulator has signalled its intention to curb
the property market and has warned cities with soaring property prices twice in
the last month, according to a report in the Securities Daily. The newspaper
cites Zhang Bo, the chief analyst at the 58 Anjuke Institute, who says the
warnings show that moves to give local governments more autonomy in customizing
housing policy does not mean the relaxation of regulations.
