Chinese Ambassador Summoned Over 'Spy' Balloon Incident

It is not just US-China relations that risk deterioration due to an incident involving a Chinese 'spy' balloon spotted near to military institutions in the US state of Montana, which sits on the Canadian border. A Canadian foreign ministry spox confirmed that the Chinese ambassador was summoned on Thursday 2 Feb over the issue. Spox states that Canada will continue to 'vigorously express' its position to Chinese officials through multiple channels.
