  • Li's language focuses on cooperation and building links between countries. Could be seen as a further sign of efforts to improve relations between US and China following the in-person meeting between Presidents Xi and Biden at the end of 2023.
  • The Premier talks up 'north-south' and 'south-south' cooperation between developed and emerging markets (north-south) or between emerging markets (south-south), Li: We need to strengthen development cooperation, bridge development gaps.
  • Li: 'China has proved to the world, it is a country worthy of trust'.
