MNI (London)
AUSSIE: Continues to trade with a heavy ton, having been sold off since the
earlier release of Australian GDP. The slight miss on expectations prompted more
calls for a RBA rate cut which has acted to press the AUD lower through the day.
Rate touched a low of $0.7021 and retains a heavy tone, currently around
$0.7025. Support is seen at $0.7019/18(Jan03 high/50% $0.6741-0.7295) ahead of
$0.7000/0.6995. Focus turns to Australian trade balance & retail sales.
