CORRECT: Unexpected composition of vote breakdown

BOE

Something unexpected from today's vote breakdown is who the dissenters were.

  • Dhingra on hold was expected. But most expected the first members to join her would be Cunliffe (who voted for a 25bp hike) and Pill (who did indeed vote for a pause). And note that this is Cunliffe's final meeting - he will be replaced by Breeden for the November vote.
