Current Class-5 Gasoline Sufficient for Russian Market: Energy Ministry

Current output of class-5 motor gasoline is sufficient for the Russian market and if necessary, there are proposals to ensure production, the Russian Energy Ministry said, cited by Interfax.

  • "If necessary, proposals of an organizational or regulatory nature have been made. The expected production of environmental class-5 motor gasoline in April fully satisfies the planned needs of the domestic market," the Ministry of Energy said.
  • Government departments have been instructed to analyse the pricing components for high-octane gasoline to determine factors which could lead to unreasonable price increases.
