Curve Twist Steepens At The Margin

US TSYS

Cash Tsys run 1bp richer to 0.5bp cheaper as the curve twist steepens, partially unwinding yesterday’s twist flattening. There hasn’t been much in the way of meaningful directional traction as Asia-Pac investors assess Thursday’s market moves, the latest H.4.1 release from the Fed, headline flow surrounding former President Trump’s legal situation and firmer than expected Tokyo CPI. TYM3 has cheapened a touch since the open of cash trade, but still operates in a narrow -0-03+ range.
