EURO SUMMARY: *Dec21 euro-dollar open $1.1871, range $1.1864 to $1.1882

*Euro-dollar opened in Asia toward the middle of the $1.1829 to $1.1902 range

witnessed yesterday, where firmer bund yields and hefty demand in euro-yen was

seen to underpin the single currency.

*Consolidation was again the theme in listless Asia markets, the pair managed to

carve out a $1.1864-82 range, but large option strikes again played their part

in keeping the range contained. There are in excess of E3.3 billion worth of

expiries rolling off today between $1.1850 and $1.1900

*Key-resistance is noted at $1.1904 (76.4% $1.1961-$1.1718), while hourly

support is located at $1.1855

*French Manufacturing confidence data provides the data risk for the session

ahead.
