STIR FUTURES
There has been some decent volatility in STIR futures. Eurodollar and Euribor strips moved higher shortly after the European close on concerns of an escalation of tensions in Ukraine. At the open, we moved off those highs and both strips are now trading close to the levels seen at 15:00GMT / 16:00CET on Friday (just marginally higher).
- SONIA futures in contrast are higher on the day (as they closed before the rally in ED/ER on Friday) but some way off the peak seen around 15:20 on Friday.
