Chevron and Woodside Energy are holding talks with unions to avert strike action at three Australian LNG facilities. A final decision on the strikes will depend on ongoing meetings for improved pay.

  • The volumes at risk equates to around 10-11% of global supplies according to the firms and analyst notes.
  • The NW Shelf, Gorgon and Wheatstone plants deliver most of their cargoes to East Asia, with Japan the largest buyer according to ICIS LNG Edge data.
