Details Of Bank Earnings Reverse Modest Pre-Market Uptick On Headline Revenue Beats

EQUITIES

Pre-market indications see both Goldman Sachs & Morgan Stanley initially benefit from beats on headline revenue in their respective quarterly earnings reports, although mixed metrics beyond that (e.g. misses for FICC revenue for both) cap pre-market marks higher, leaving the names little changed vs. pre-earnings levels last (MS indicated 0.5% higher & GS indicated +0.6%). S&P 500 e-mini futures are off lows but see little net change vs. pre-bank earnings levels (-0.4% vs. Friday’s settlement).
