AUSSIE: Dropped sharply on release of disappointing Australian jobs data from
$0.6841 to an eventual low into Europe of $0.6792 before it edged back to
$0.6807. However, underlying tone remains bearish. Move also saw AUD/JPY make a
show under tech support at Y73.90 to Y73.80, though didn't spark any major
follow through selling. Traders do note that the Y74.00 level holds the strike
of a decent sized option at today's NY cut, A$1.59bln(A$1.12bln being AUD puts).
- AUD/USD support now seen at $0.6770(61.8% $0.6671-0.6930) ahead of
$0.6732(76.4%). Resistance $0.6840/60.
