DOLLAR: DXY has continued to remain bounded by two short-term Fibo levels - the
50% and 61.8% retracements from 95.029-96.676 at 95.658 and 95.853 respectively.
Today we will receive the ADP report ahead of Friday's NFPs ahead of tonight's
FOMC decision.
- As we have discussed in our Fed previews, the most common words used by
analysts to describe the Fed`s likely tone are `patience` and `flexibility`.
Regarding the balance sheet, it is likely that the Fed will be non-committal
with the hawkish risk being that there is no indication that the Fed will
reconsider balance sheet policy and the dovish risk that we get an early
announcement on paring back or ending asset runoff.
- Talks continue on the Sino-US trade deal while the highlights on the earnings
front today include McDonalds, Evercore, Boeing, AT&T, Invesco, Qualcomm,
Microsoft, Tesla, Facebook and Paypal.
