Economic Confidence Rises in October

  • Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan and US Secretary of State Blinken discussed the latest developments in Gaza in a phone call, diplomatic sources told Anadolu Ajansi. The two top diplomats spoke about preventing the conflict in Gaza from spreading in the region, efforts to secure the release of hostages and the urgency of creating a humanitarian corridor as well as issues regarding NATO’s enlargement process, said the sources.
  • Turkey's economic confidence rose to 96.53 in October from 95.4 in September, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute.
  • Vice President Yilmaz chaired an Economy Coordination Board meeting this morning. He will address parliament on the 12th Development Plan later today.
