Economy & Finance Minister Expects June Inflation Data To Fall To 6.7%

  • Economy and Finance Minister Alex Contreras noted that CPI has started to moderate and that annualized inflation will experience a more marked drop in June.
    • "We project that annualized inflation will fall from 7.9% to 6.7%," he said.
  • President Boluarte on Tuesday pledged to continue supporting efforts towards democracy, stressing the need to walk together to find the country's development path.
    • Moreover, the Head of State affirmed that "democracy is not defended with political calculation, based on deadlines and scenarios, or by looking at surveys when convenient."
