EGB SUMMARY: EGB SUMMARY CLOSING: Fairly muted afternoon session for EGB's.

-Bund, although better bid, the contract has stayed within ranges throughout the

afternoon. 

-BTP were mainly stable, until the following hit our screens: "Our programme

points are clear. If they are included in the government programme, then we can

start. If not, it would be better to go back to elections, and, I might add, as

soon as possible," Di Maio told reporters." -Rtrs 

-BTP dropped a few ticks, but have since recovered, with most investor's focus

turning to a very busy month of September 

-Peripherals are a touch wider, but again all within ranges. 

- Bund futures are up 0.26 today at 179.20 with BTP futures down -0.70 at 145.24

and OAT futures up 0.05 at 170.47.
