EUROZONE ISSUANCE

The EU, the Netherlands, Italy, and Germany held auctions this week, while Portugal held an exchange operation. Gross nominal issuance for the week was E20.9bln, down from last week's E24.2bln.

  • On Monday, the EU tapped 0% Oct-28 EU NGEU, selling E2.497bln.
  • On Tuesday, the Netherlands sold E2.49bln of 0% Jul-31 DSL.
  • Later Tuesday, Italy sold E2.25bln of 0% Jan-24 BTP Short Term, and E0.75bln of 0.15% May-51 BTPei.
  • Also Tuesday, Germany sold E3bln total of 0.00% Nov-28 Bund, with E2.36bln allotted.
  • On Wednesday, Germany sold E2bln total of 0.00% May-36 Bund, with E1.509bln allotted.
