EUROZONE ISSUANCE

Germany, Finland, Lithuania, Spain and France are all still due to issue bonds this week. The ESM and Slovakia came to the market Monday. We look for estimated gross nominal issuance of E25.4bln from announced operations, down from this week’s E37.8bln.

  • In the “near future” (we expect Tuesday), Lithuania will come to the market for a dual-tranche syndication. On offer will be a new long 5-year bond alongside the 2.125% Jun-32 bond. We look for a transaction size of around E1bln combined.
  • Also Tuesday, Germany will look to launch the new 7-year 2.10% Nov-29 Bund (ISIN: DE0001102622) for E4bln.
  • Also Tuesday, Finland will look to sell 10/30-year RFGBs: E1bln of the 1.50% Sep-32 RFGB (ISIN: FI4000523238) and E500mln of the 0.125% Apr-52 RFGB (ISIN: FI4000480488).
