Gas output in the seven US shale basins is forecast to increase by 0.332bcf/d to 97.167bcf/d in May according to the EIA drilling productivity report released yesterday.
- EIA has revised the April shale gas forecast up from 96.622bcf/d to 96.835bcf/d.
- Monthly changes per region in mmcf/d are:
- Appalachia +48 to 35.281 bcf/d
- Permian +77 to 22.514 bcf/d
- Haynesville +94 to 16.821 bcf/d
- Eagle Ford +55 to 7.266 bcf/d
- Anadarko +8 to 6.941 bcf/d
- Niobrara +12 to 5.185 bcf/d
- Bakken +38 to 3.159 bcf/d
