Energy Min-Halting Energy Exports After Russian Strikes On Infra

UKRAINE

Wires reporting that the Ukrainian Energy Ministry has stated that the country will be halting energy exports due to the Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure earlier today.

  • Nika Melkozerova at New Voice Ukraine: "Ukrainian electricity, which we exported after synchronization to the EU, as well as via separate lines to Moldova and Poland, helped Europe replace Russian gas and supported the stability of the European energy system. Due to the latest attacks, Ukraine forced to stop the export"
  • While the scale and indiscriminate nature of the missile launches today has not been seen for some time in Kyiv, the Russian armed forces are unlikely to be able to sustain this level of attack for any long period of time. Stockpiles of long-range missiles are not being replenished at a rapid rate, while Moscow will also be forced to keep some missiles in reserve in the unlikely event of a fully-fledged ground war with NATO.
