  • Leading gainers: Real Estate and Industrial sectors outperformed in the first half, real estate investment trusts, particularly industrial and health care REITs: Prologis +1.42%, Ventas +2.62%, Healthpeak Properties +2.06%.
  • Airfreight and logistics shares buoyed the Industrials sector: Expeditors Int +1.37%, FedEx +1.28%, JB Hunt +1.20%.
  • Meanwhile, Information Technology and Communication Services shares underperformed in the first half of trade, software and services weighing on the former: Salesforce hammered -20.58% after yesterday's earnings spurred multiple downgrades this morning, ServiceNow Inc -9.24%, Intuit -4.88%.
  • Interactive media and entertainment shares weighed on Communication Services: Google -1.64%, Paramount -1.58%, Meta -1.27%.
