  • SPX leading/lagging sectors: As noted Energy (+1.78%) lead by oil and gas names (Haliburton/HAL +4.92%; Hess/HES +4.36%, Marathon/MRO +2.80%) as crude oil rebounds (WTI +2.71 at 88.04). Health Care (+1.47%) and Consumer Staples (+1.00%) follow. Laggers: Communication Services (-3.64%) weighed by interactive media/services: Google -7.4%, META -4.13%, IT (-1.80%) follows w/ software and services underperforming -- Microsoft hammered despite beating earnings est ($2.35 vs. 2.257 est)
  • Dow Industrials Leaders/Laggers: Visa (V) +8.07 at 202.45, United Health (UNH) bounces back +5.9 at 546.12 after trading weaker Tuesday, Amgen (AMGN) +4.86 at 264.85. Laggers: Microsoft (MSFT) -16.10 at 234.56, Boeing (BA) -78.45 at 139.20, Salesforce.com (CRM) -4.86a t 160.41.
