EURO-DOLLAR: Euro opened in Asia at $1.1994 toward the upper side of the $1.1950
to $1.2007 range witnessed yesterday, where upbeat ZEW data helped to underpin
the single currency. There is no economic data or scheduled events to impact
trading in Asia, local traders expect side-ways consolidation ahead of the
European open. In option space, an expiry for today at $1.2000(E1.04bn) may act
to contain the near-term range for the Asia session. Resistance lies at
$1.2007(Sep19 high), a break opens $1.2032(76.4% $1.2092-$1.1838), while hourly
support is located at $1.1961.
