Europe Traffic Levels at lowest in 2023: BNEF


Traffic levels in Europe reached a new year to date low of 58.5% of the 2019 daily average in the week to Aug. 15, according to BNEF.

  • Europe’s traffic levels have been on a downward trajectory since the end of July, in line with seasonal trends as the continent comes towards the end of its summer holiday season.
  • Meanwhile, traffic levels in North America and China have started to recover. Up 1.5% and 6.5% respectively on the week.
