European Jet Fuel Imports from Middle East Slip

European jet fuel imports from the Middle East have slipped in Feb, according to Bloomberg, without giving a value.

  • The shortfall has been compensated by larger rises in arrivals from the US and WAF.
  • Western European jet fuel demand is expected to reach 1.2m b/d in April, up from the current 1m b/d.
  • Forward Asia-US West Coast jet fuel spreads have softened on the month, Bloomberg added.
  • Jet fuel demand in North America is expected to average 1.5m b/d in February and will rise to 1.6m b/d in March and 1.7m b/d in April.
