European LNG New Terminal Send-Out

LNG

The three new German and one new Dutch import facilities are now sending out around 45 mcm/day combined into the Dutch & German gas pipeline networks according to ICIS.

  • These terminals, and others to follow, give the Netherlands and Germany more capacity to import LNG next winter, and should be available to run at higher rates by the winter.
  • Actual new additions to global supply are fairly limited this year however, with the main new projects on the way being BP's Tangguh train 3 in Indonesia and the Tortue project off Senegal, which are expected around the end of the year.
