European LNG Sendout Strong as French Disruption Eases

LNG

LNG imports into Europe have remained strong despite the French import disruption since early March. Total European sendout averaged 415mcm/d in March but has risen to 459mcm/d on 12 April with higher demand due to cool temperatures.

  • Most of France’s LNG terminals returned operational last week, although Fos Cavaou is scheduled to return on 19 April. Two LNG vessels were yesterday waiting outside Montoir LNG which is due to restart unloadings in the coming days. Montoir sendout is nominated to increase over the next week.
  • A total of 37 vessels are currently scheduled to arrive at NW European terminals before the end of the month with 38 already arrived so far this month. A total of 86 LNG cargoes arrived into NW Europe terminals in March.
