EUROPEAN DATA: Eurozone flash consumer confidence was weaker than expected,
coming in at -3.9 (exp -3.0, prev -2.7). The series has gradually deteriorated
since a peak in January and this was the weakest reading since March 2017. This
continues the run of weak Eurozone data and focus now switches to the flash
manufacturing and services data for the Eurozone, France and Germany due for
release tomorrow. Further deterioration in the PMIs will raise further concerns
surrounding the outlook for the Eurozone economy.
