Exxon Confirms Beaumont Refinery Expansion Now Online

ExxonMobil has officially announced the startup of its Beaumont refinery expansion project, which adds 250,000 bpd capacity to the US Gulf Coast.

  • We reported on its restart on March 1 based on market sources information.
  • The added volume in Beaumont increases its total processing capacity to more than 630,000 bpd, making it one of the largest refineries in the United States.
  • The refinery processes Permian crude into finished products including gasoline, diesel and jet.
  • Gulf refiners are expected to step in to help fill the gap in Europe left by the Russian oil product import ban.
