BOND SUMMARY: Fairly sedate trade for core global FI markets thus far, with
little apparent on the docket for the remainder of the session, excluding the
latest round of BoJ Rinban operations
- T-Notes last trade +0-01 at 124-14+, with the 10-Year cash Tsy yield at
2.400%, as yields sit a touch higher across the curve, aided by an uptick in the
major Asia-Pacific equity markets.
- JGB futures have stuck to a tight range with focus on the aforementioned
10-25+ Year Rinban operations. The contract last trades 4 ticks lower, with
yields a touch higher across the curve.
- Aussie bond futures have stuck to a tight range with focus on the weekend's
federal election ahead of next week's risk events, namely the RBA's May meeting
minutes and an address from RBA Gov. Lowe. YM last +0.5 tick, with XM -1.0 tick.
YM/XM trades at 49.0, with the cash equivalent at 45.6bp. Bills unchanged to 1
tick higher through the reds.
- German FI futures are virtually unchanged.
